VNC

The VNC was a drama about living in the hood of the Van Ness Corridor. Tucked gently between pac heights, the loin and whole foods, the VNC has more action that any reality show on fox. Starring: Shayla, Sarah, Linnea, Suzanne, Brigid, Nicole, Charlie, Tim, Bandele, Tyler, and Jesse. Like Friends, 90210, and Dawsons Creek, All good things must come to an end. The show is over but there could be a spin off on its way. The episode archive can give you a glimpse of what our thriving commuity used to be.

To all the cast and crew of the VNC, you will be missed dearly but never forgotten. I wish you all the best on you next ventures even if they are relating to the soap opera industry which I adversley despise. Take care my bitches.

Everyone else left, Suzanne, Tay and Sophia just moved to the marina, Bandele to become a mormon in Provo and Tyler is on the hunt for a new place too. So sad so sad.

Tyler, who seems to wish he was elsewhere 70% orf the time but we dont hold it against him.

Suzanne, has remained her cheery old self with the ups and the downs of the hood. She will probably be signed on for the spin off of the VNC.

-This week the harsh reality of what was once a thriving community has set in, the homeless have taken over the VNC and everyone else is moving out.

-Char char is going to hike the apalachean trail, Tim is going to teach in Spain, Jesse has not disclosed his future plans to me but is leaving the house, Sarah is going to travel in south america, Lineea is going to grad school in SD, and I am besides myself with grief and longing for the days as they once were.

-We found a third roommate through a few connections and our house is going to be remodeled in april to bring some glory back to the hood.

-There was a hot guy spotting as well in a neighborind apartment building so there is a silver lining to our clouds.

-As some of you might know, nicole is seeking greener pastures in her old neighborhood, alamo square. "The VNC just doesnt have the same spark as it had when i moved in" she explains.

It looks as though in 2 months time the VNC will fall like Rome. As it stands now I will still be holding down the fort with Sophia but hopes are that other forces carry me away as well. Jesse, Tim, and Char Char are still here in spirit when they are not with their girlfriends or at the office all night.

The big chili cook off, will it be a blast or just a lot of gas? Thursday Sarah, Linnea, and Suzanne prepare a winter chili feast to bring the festivities back to the hood.

As if there werent enough single girls in SF, add another one to our block. Please welcome to Nicole onto the market and out of coupledom.

Sarah and Suzanne are off to eastern washington for a vacation of sorts. no beach or palm trees but lost of Washington Apples for sale.

-Sarah and shayla get stuck in a snow bank and towed out by a drunk indian..then get on a skull and crossbones run at kirkwood (double black diamond x 15) and have to rock climb out using their boards as ice picks. Now they would like to be honored as the herows they are with fine ales and anointments.

-If one is curious how Gus Brumder-teichman is (from CU/Seattle) he quotes: "I've been better, I just puked on the plane, they lost my board" Everyone has that special eore of a friend, and he is just that.

Sarah receives late night dirty message. Show was toned down to fit w/in network requirements but highlights include lawn furniture in the ass, milk bones, collapseable snow shovels, etc

Sophia returns to the neighborhood she founded and tries to restake her claim of the flourishing bastion.

Slightly removed from the usual cast, jorgy jorgenson threatens the upper vnc by calling in rounds of firefighters to check on the passed out mac and cheese chef.

Holiday festivity planning goes underway with hopes of christmas parties, new years bash's and jewelry shows at 1644, complete with Chris planning for a cameo to ring in 2005.

Coggenshall caught walking in the rain w/ only a toothbrush in his back pocket on a quest for ass

Jesse uses mechanical engineering skills to design an office makeout booth out of "golden shower" remnants. 30yr year old college professors are definitely into that kind of thing...right?

Charlie has been officially taken off the vnc meat market and has now assumed the status of "boyfriend."

Another day another robbery of a guests car, the vnc is not friendly to newcomers, as was found out by one of Brigid's guests.

Chris Bade threatens suit for the intellectual ownership of the VNC. He did come up with the show but has been MIA for too long to keep a stronghold on it.

Sarah organizes Pumpkin carving fest but will she follow through and will Bandele try to make the hood invest in some expensive rotissery pumpkin baker and fancy cutlery?

Suzanne throws her first party, with promises of cookies and booz it coulnt possibly be a flop.

Nicole is running for secretary treasurer of the VNC, who will be the next rable rouser.

Neighbors watch your sugar supply or lock your doors Jesse threatens to lick the hood clean of its baked goods and ice cream supply.
